Thank you for this excellent explanation of list building.
The way that you explain the process proves that you know this subject inside out.

Hey Chaddo!

Great stuff as usual, just a few Q's for ya'

When bidding for the keywords that are chosen from the list google returns as relavent, do you recommend bidding on the exact keyword/phrase. For example:

[pink fluffy toys]
[large pink fluffy toys]
[large pink extra fluffly toys]

Instead of just bidding on the broad:

pink fluffy toys
large pink fluffy toys
large pink extra fluffly toys

I always use exact [ ] personally when doing keyword research, or any bidding, but have noticed you never mention it in your videos, any reason?

Finally, will google and other PPC sources be fine with this method? I thought they were getting pretty harsh on landing pages, and banning accounts instantly? What are your opinions/suggestions on this?

Look forward to your response!

Jo

ANSWER FROM CHAD: re: match types, bid on all three match types, but put each match type in its own campaign (in adwords) so you can track them separately. Broad match can be a money hole that brings no response so needs to be watched carefully. Google doesn't like name squeeze type pages, in general, but if you put links on the page to the rest of your site (at the very bottom of the site, off the page, where people viewing the form won't see them) that can really help. Link out to wikipedia and stuff as well. Now regarding msn and yahoo, they don't seem to care about name squeeze pages at all, so its a great way to go.
